Freedom

                       There are words of freedom where slaves are free
                               thats no one should be slaves black people want
                             freedom and they will march  freedom now they just
                              want justice so thhey are happy now let freedom
                                freedom ring to all brother and sister let freedom
                                ring so we will be free.

or does it wear me?
wear me down,

     thin,
             to the bone .....
i wear the mask that shy and mostly want to be alone.
 i wear the mask to show that i can be a leader so people can see who i am. do i wear the
mask or does it wear me?

i wear the mask i am one person no one can stop that.
so do i wear the mask or does it wear me?i take the mask and peole look at me as a pround black gurl thats trys her best to go to college i am strong...........

just because im black

just because im black,
doesn't mean that im ghetto.
and doesn't mea that i would never go
 college doesn't mean when you see me am always
trying to start something.
just because im black doesn't mean that you can
pick when you feel like it
just because im black doesn't mean  that i try to
be bad
why do people pick on me?why do people don't
see what i been threw
i love who i am an no one can stop that.
